Invoq

Invoq is an AI invoice and expense manager that extracts amounts, VAT and currency from uploaded documents and shows a real-time accounting dashboard.

Invoq automates the first pass of expense bookkeeping. A user drags in an invoice — a PDF or a Word doc — and the AI extracts the invoice number, amount, currency, and VAT without any manual entry. Those extractions roll up into a running accounting balance with a monthly breakdown, and a KPI dashboard summarizes totals the moment the user logs in. A later amendment added multi-currency support, tracking each invoice in its native currency while converting the total into whichever currency the user selects.

The prompt

A simple yet gorgeous tool (light mode, webGL animated background) to manage corporate expenses and invoices. User logs in through Google oAuth, then simply uploads (drag & drop) invoice documents: Word docs, PDFs, etc. and the AI parses it, extracts invoice numbers (amount, currency and VAT), and does some quick accounting/balance. Breakdown by month, simple KPI dashboard upon login.

What it does

  • Drag-and-drop invoice upload supporting PDF and Word documents
  • AI extraction of invoice fields: number, amount, currency, and VAT
  • Automated accounting balance calculation across uploaded invoices
  • Monthly expense breakdown with trend visualization
  • KPI summary dashboard on login (total spend, VAT owed, invoice count)
