Leafy points a phone camera at a plant and identifies it on the spot, then lets the user register it into a personal collection. From there, close-up photos of leaves, soil, or roots go through a second AI pass that checks the plant's condition against five states — healthy, underwatered, overwatered, infested, or otherwise sick — and returns care guidance specific to that diagnosis. Every diagnosis is kept in a history per plant, so condition can be tracked across visits rather than judged from a single photo.
The prompt
A mobile responsive app that instantly detect a plant when the camera hovers over it, and tells the user what it is. It then gets “registered”, and the user can follow-up by shooting close up pictures (leaves, earth, roots, etc.), that the AI can analyze to assess the plant's condition: healthy, sick, lacking water, infested by insects, overwatered, etc. and provide guidance as to how to make it healthy.
